Training course on Save the Children in Battambang, February 15-17, 2017

On March 15-17, 2017, M’lup Russey cooperated with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Social Welfare of the Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation in Battambang to organize a training on Child Safe Communities for Regional Managers, a partnership with M’lup Russey.  40 people in Battambang Province attended.
This training course was presided over by HE Tea Channy, Director-General of Technical and Chair of the Child Safeguarding Unit of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation, and facilitated by the Child Safeguard Qualification Committee with the M’lup Russey team.

In the beginning of the course, Mr. Seth Chanvannak, Deputy Director of Department of Welfare of Children, representing HE Mr. Thida Chanany, Technical Director of Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation, had a greetings to all trainees and thanks to M’lup Russey, which is always interested in supporting the Ministry of Social Affairs as well as sub-national authorities who are involved in child welfare, child care, child care and support.

On this occasion, HE CHEA CHEUN NIC was grateful to the trainees who participated in the training course and talked about the establishment of three committees in the field of communications and finance, programs and training in monitoring and evaluation to provide assistance to The Child Safe Evaluation Committee.  Each of the committees led by HE Odom.  HE also raised some of the work that the Social Affairs Administration has implemented and the complex issues that are being resolved.

On the other hand, he requested that the trainees who participated in the training would be required to pay attention in order to gain knowledge from the training courses carried out in their respective institutions to meet the minimum standards of the ministry.  And thanks to M’lup Russey Organization for organizing the event and all the partners.  There was good cooperation at Alternative Care Centers in Battambang Province have good cooperation and good relationships with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Social Affairs of Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation in Battambang. Moreover, the heads and staff of each institution understand more about the implementation of Child Safe Schools in their institutions.
